Wild Flowers

Wild flowers

Even more than I like like those big and colorful garden flowers I like those that grow wild in the nature. Wild flowers are often a bit more simple and modest and sometimes you have to look very carefully for just to find them hiding in bushes.
But I like the natural beauty in them, telling about sensitivity and toughness on the same time.

kuka piileksii piharatamon lehden takana?

White-tailed Deer

White-tailed deer

As I was driving along the way to our summer villa in the archipelago of Finland I met this beautiful creature standing on a field. I guess he found me rather harmless sitting in my car because he decided to stay and study me for a while.

It also had a friend that was more of a shy type.

Jump!

Summer Fun
Splash!!

This is what summer holidays are about - having fun and spending time with family and friends.
Without having to worry about timetables and early get_ups.
Oh, still 10 months to next summer vacation - but actually that's also ok,
let's enjoy colours of coming Autumn and snow of Winter first :)

Marmalade Hoverfly

Summer and the insects.
Not one without the other.

May I present Marmalade Hoverfly to you.
These guys were funny, they were not afraid for me at all - they just sat there :)
